CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: o To Develop and execute the Modern Trade’s Business Development Plans in line with SDL & Business Unit objectives. o Lead the MT sales organization (Region/Country based) to deliver brand, volume, value & margin targets within all Modern Trade channels through the efficient utilisation of Category Management best practise, resources and within the agreed financial framework. o To have direct accountability and full management responsibilty to negotiate at the highest level with our Key Account Customers on behalf of the business and build strong trading relationships. o This is a lead Customer Management role that carries the responsibility of managing the relationships with our Key Customers throughout the GCC to ensure we are the trading Partner Of Choice within each category. o This role enables the business to fully understand and translate our Key Customers’ needs into actionable insights that will build a mutual business with our customers and will communicate and implement a clear vision for Category Growth within our customer base throughout the GCC. ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: BA Degree in Business Administration, Commerce; Strong verbal and written communication English skills, and verbal in Arabic; Computer literate; Excellent customer relationship building skills; Age 35-40 years; Driving Licence. NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Age 30 - 45 years old; Male; Fluent in English; Experienced Negotiator; Experience in Joint Business Planning; Strategic thinker. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years in Business Development, Key account management and/or Trade Marketing experience with a reputable FMCG company in the Middle East with evidence of well-developed Key Account management skills and proven track record of delivering results in a competitive environment. Experience in managing international Key Accounts (2 years as Sales Manager in Almarai); 3 years experience as a Sales Manager in FMCG business. Desirable responsibilities (Generic Description): 5 years experience in managing international Key Accounts; 5 years experience as a Sales Manager in FMCG business; 3 years experience in Marketing. COMPETENCIES: Positive attitude on tasks given; System and people oriented; Good analytical & perfect reporting; Good on written and oral communication; Satisfactory Aptitude; Positive Behaviour & Attitude.
